Split Rock Quarry
Near the famous Wookey Hole in Wells is Split Rock Quarry. This is an ideal venue for abseiling as there is a very low and gentle outcrop for first-timers to gain confidence and for self rescue techniques to be practiced. There is also a far more exciting 25 metre abseil available.
Rock climbing is also an option here.
